The Child Development Programs (CDC) provide quality child care for young children by professionally trained staff in healthy, age-appropriate environments. The program provides multi-child care options with 300+ spaces available in two centers at varied locations for optimum support for parents. The program supports the community with extended hours during exercises/real world events, daily hourly care, slots reserved for EDIS children and volunteer child care, for special squadron events, marriage retreats, Couple Connections and PCS’ing Care.
Our full-day program is intended for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old. Slots are available at both Area 1 and Flightline locations. Contact Area 1 to request care.
Hourly Care Program
Both Area 1 and Flightline CDC offer PCS / Hourly care slots. Parents may make PCS reservations for child care up to 30 days in advance. Same-day reservations are also accepted. Spaces are a first come, first served basis. Review the hourly care contract for more information.
Part Day Pre-school (PDPS)
We are excited to start the 2016-2017 school year with you! Children must be 3 years old by Sept 1 of the school year and fully potty trained in order to attend PDPS. Contact the Flightline CDC for more details or to register your child.
Parent participation is always welcome. The CDC holds monthly Parent Advisory Board meetings at the Airman & Family Readiness Center the second Thursday of the month at 1100. The meetings are open to any parent of a child attending the CDC or Youth Programs. The meetings foster new ideas as well as help create special events for the children, parents and staff of the CYP programs.
