			Outdoor Recreation (ODR) supports the Aviano Air Base community with several key services: Equipment rental operation, in-house maintenance shop for ski, snowboard and bicycle repair; Retail sales operation for winter ski and snowboard equipment; oversight and booking for the off base Area D park and pavilion; operation of the summer seasonal base swimming pool and oversight of the skate park located in Freedom Park; ODR also handles the execution of a wide variety of outdoor adventure programs and instructional classes; and an information and referral program where one can obtain hiking trail maps or local brochure information on relevant sites. ODR is also responsible for the used car sales lot. Our instructional programs include scuba certification, certification and recertification for lifeguarding, and a variety of aquatics classes such as swim lessons for all ages, kayak roll classes, and water aerobics instruction.

Outdoor Adventure is for those with an enthusiasm for adventure type sports such as, rock climbing, river kayaking, caving, white water rafting, canyoning, mountain biking, skiing, snowshoeing, horseback riding, and mountain trekking. ODR also operates a resale operation to provide our customers with last minute needs before venturing out in the great beyond. Let ODR be your place for all of your ski, snowboard, and bicycle maintenance. ODR has qualified technicians on hand to do your equipment repairs!

	Recreation at *Your* Leisure: This program is designed to tailor trips outside of the established trip schedule for the convenience of the customer. If a scheduled trip does not fit into the time frame available for our customers, be it family or group, ODR will tailor a trip that does fit into their time frame. Keeping high deployment and high workloads in mind, ODR will provide recreational opportunities to those that may not have had the chance to participate otherwise. There is NO extra fee associated with this program, in fact, if an individual schedules 10 or more persons on their private group trip they go for free unless it is an outside contracted trip where they will only pay at cost. Please note that private group trips must be scheduled within the open date availability of the established trip schedule and must have a minimum of 8 customers. Private group trip ideas include any and all current established trip ideas to include such trips as horseback riding, bike riding trips, ropes course outings, climbing or hiking trips, deep sea fishing trips, ski trips, rock climbing trips and many more. We are limited only by your trip idea imagination!
