The Aviano Air base AYP focuses on
enhancing the emotional, physical, social
and educational well being of youth
participants ages 6-18 through safe,
age-appropriate and multicultural activities
that foster learning and develop
confidence. These positive, enjoyable
experiences encourage youth to develop
the skills necessary to make sound
judgment and become productive
members of society. The program is
operated by professionally trained staff
and is evaluated annually through
unannounced compliance inspections.
