The Child and Youth Programs Mission is to assist DoD military and civilian personnel in balancing the competing demands of the accomplishment of the DoD mission and family life by managing and delivering a system of quality, available, and affordable programs and services for eligible children and youth from birth to 18 years of age.
The Child Development & Youth Programs relies heavily on the support of spouses/dependents for full time and part time employment opportunities and positions. This is a great tool to have in your backpack as a military/civilian spouse or dependent; training provided for entry to experienced, pay increases as training levels are accomplished and transferable wherever you may go (Air Force, Navy, Army or Marines).
Our full-day program is intended for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old. Slots are available at the Flightline location. Please log-on to MilitaryChildCare.com to request care.
Currently Right Start Care/PCS care are offered at Flightline CDC on space available basis only. Parents may make PCS reservations for child care up to 30 days in advance. Spaces are a first come, first served basis. Please contact Flightline CDC for availability.
We are excited to start the 2017-2018 school year with you! Children must be 3 years old by Sept 2 of the school year and fully potty trained in order to attend PDPS. Contact the Area 1 CDC for more details. To request for care, please go to MCC.com and select "Area 1 CDC".

Parent participation is always welcome. The CDC holds monthly Parent Advisory Board meetings at the Airman & Family Readiness Center the first Wednesday of every month at 1100. The meetings are open to any parent of a child attending the CDC or Youth Programs. The meetings foster new ideas as well as help create special events for the children, parents and staff of the CYP programs. Check the Aviano Parent Advisory Facebook page for details.
