The Military Personnel Flight (MPF) provides support to the 31st Fighter Wing Aviano Air Base Mission, Airmen and their families.

When contacting the MPF's main line at DSN: 632-5404/Comm: 0434-30-5404 please choose from the following options:

  • Commander's Support Staff = Option 2
  • For Customer Support = Option 3
  • For the Passport Office = Option 3

CAC Appointments

Scheduled appointments will be M-F from 9:30AM-3:30PM.
Walk-ins: 7:30AM-8:30AM

** Members should continue to visit their CSS prior to the MPF for all services except ID Cards and Passports**

Hours of Operation

CAC Appointments: Scheduled appointments will be Mon - Fri from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.

Walk-ins for CAC IDs (Only for lost CACs) are from 7:30 am - 8:30 am

Walk-ins for CAC Pin reset & DEERS updates will be 7:30 am to 3:00 pm.

Force Management Section:
Mon-Fri 7:30 am - 3:00 pm (Walk-ins & Appointments)

Career Development Section:
Mon, Wed, Thu, Fri 7:30 am - 3:00 pm (Appointment Only)
Walk-ins are on Tue 7:30 am - 3:00 pm

Closed every third Tuesday for readiness training, case processing, and program/process management. During this time, the MPF will be available for emergency requests ONLY. Please contact your unit CSS or Chain of Command, who can contact the MPF on your behalf during closure hours.

Contact this section for assistance with Common Access Card (CAC), pin resets, retiree/dependent ID cards, command sponsorship, and amendments (Inbound Only)

If your CAC, dependent ID, or retiree ID card is expiring within 30 days, you can make an appointment through the ID Card Office Online (IDCO).

How to make an Appointment

  1. Click the IDCO Appointment Scheduler (See below)
  2. Under Site Locator & Appointments, click Continue
  3. Under Show Locations Near, type Aviano and click Search
  4. Click MORE INFO for Aviano Option
  5. Read MORE SITE INFO
  6. Click Schedule An Appointment
