Who May Apply
All U.S. citizens, except those determined to have ordinarily resident status in the host country. U.S. dependents must have an Official Passport, Visa, Soggiorno and be listed on the sponsor’s orders or command sponsorship letter. Non-U.S. citizen family members of a military or civilian sponsor stationed at Aviano may be considered for NAF employment under U.S. conditions if:
Dependent is a citizen of a NATO country and has a US Permanent Resident Card.
Albania, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Czech Rep, Denmark, Estonia, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Turkey, and the United Kingdom.
Dependent must be listed on the sponsor’s orders or command sponsorship letter.
U.S. enlisted personnel may be hired as NAF employees during their non-duty hours.
