Graz is one of the best-preserved medieval cities in Europe. With one step onto a romantic side street the air is full of sieges, plagues, rulers, boyish pranks, love affairs and family histories.

Vienna is the capital and one of the largest cities of Austria. It is the 9th-largest city by population in the European Union. Until the beginning of the 20th century it was the largest German speaking city in the world, and before the first world war and the splitting of the Austro-Hungarian Empire the city had 2 million inhabitants.

Klagenfurt is known as the “city of culture in the south” offering a lot in the areas of culture, theatre, cabaret, and music. Those who are interested in history can explore the 800 years of history of Klagenfurt on a walk through the old town. The 17th century Stadtpfarrturm (parish church tower), for example, has a stunning observation platform.
