When stationed overseas, DoD members are authorized a free U.S. Postal Service (USPS) mail box on base and they share it with their dependents. The Aviano Post Office offers the same services and rates as U.S. Post Offices.
Sign Up for a P.O. Box: Inbound DoD members within 30 days of reporting to Aviano may request a P.O. Box. Your sponsor or unit representative can request a P.O. Box for you online, through e-mail, or by visiting the Post Office in person.
